Old Paperwork Follows Old Cars
An unwanted car can sit through a house move, a family change or a long spell off road. By the time it needs scrapping, the V5C may still show an old address. The car itself might be on a Longridge drive, at a relative's place, or behind a workshop on private land.
That does not always stop a collection, but it does mean the record trail needs care.
Separate Three Addresses
There may be three different addresses in play: the address on the V5C, the current contact address for the person arranging disposal, and the physical pickup address. Write each one down if they differ.

Give The Driver The Practical Address

The driver does not need your whole address history. They need enough information to collect the correct vehicle safely and record the handover accurately.
